New Steps for Fair Exams

To stop unfair practices during exams, AKTU has implemented this new system. Face biometric verification ensures that only registered students can sit for the exams. All identity reports will be directly sent to the university. This move aims to eliminate cheating and other malpractices.

The semester exams for AKTU will begin on 8 January 2025. The final schedule and list of exam centers have already been released. It is now mandatory for all exam centers to install CCTV cameras. Colleges must also share details about staff and equipment deployed at the exam centers with the university.

Colleges Closing Down

Two AKTU-affiliated colleges, SBSLD College of Pharmacy (Etah) and JD College of Pharmacy (Azamgarh), have applied for permanent closure. The university has started transferring students from these colleges to other institutions. Colleges interested in admitting these students have been asked to submit applications by 4 January 2025.

Exam Controller’s Statement

Prof. Rajeev Kumar, the Exam Controller, stated that the use of face biometric verification and CCTV cameras will eliminate any chances of malpractice. This initiative ensures that the exams remain fair and trustworthy.

AKTU’s new system is a step toward a safer and more transparent examination process. Students and colleges are expected to follow all guidelines on time. This initiative reflects AKTU’s commitment to providing a fair and secure environment for academic assessments.
