AKTU Exam Scheme Changed
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released an important update for the odd semester examinations of 2024-25. In this update, the university has made changes in the exam schedule of some subjects. These changes are for the students who are studying in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses, especially for students of computer science, information technology and related fields.
As per the new exam schedule, the exam dates of some subjects have been changed. For example, the exam for the subject “Data Warehousing and Data Mining” which was earlier scheduled to be held on 11 January 2025 will now be held on 5 February 2025. Similarly, the exam dates for the subjects “Compiler Design” and “Computer Graphics” have also been changed.
Apart from this, the university has also changed the subject code of some elective subjects. Such as the subject code BCS058 of electives of AI (Artificial Intelligence), CSE (AIML) and CSE (DS) has been changed to BCA1053. This change is important for those students who are studying in these subjects.
You have to check your exam schedule carefully and plan your preparation according to the new changes. These changes are only for those students who are going to appear in the exam, so you should check the exam dates carefully.

Subject: Regarding inclusion/amendment of certain subjects in the examination program of regular and carry over examinations of the first phase of odd semester of session 2024-25.
Sir,
Please inform in the order of AKTU/P.N.I./2024/1469 dated 31 December, 2024 of the University that the final examination program branch wise was issued for conducting the first phase examinations of regular and carry over subjects of the students studying in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the odd semester of the academic session 2024-25 of the University from 08 January, 2025 to 07 February, 2025 in offline mode at various examination centers affiliated to the University after approval by the competent level of the University.
In reference to the above, as a result of change in the subject code of certain subjects by the competent level and accepting the request made by the students and institutions, the following amendments have been made / included in the examination program of the subjects mentioned in the table, the details of which are as follows.
Therefore, you are requested to be aware of the above and inform the students studying in your institute and take necessary action and provide full cooperation in the semester examination.
